DAILY STRUGGLES

Every day is a new opportunity to either tackle something we are working on or discover we have a new struggle in life. We can’t always make problems go away in an instant or even a day. But we can take things one day at a time and realize if we allow God to help us get through the daily struggles, things will eventually get better. God wants to help us every day. He wants us to be there for our friends who are struggling reminding them that these daily struggles will soon end and we will be stronger.

2 Corinthians 4:18 “So we don’t look at the troubles we can see now; rather, we fix our gaze on things that cannot be seen. For the things we see now will soon be gone, but the things we cannot see will last forever.” (NLT)

Dear Lord, help us today to know our struggles will soon be gone. Help us to know when we struggle we are learning something from You and we become stronger. When our friends struggle, help us to be the friend who comforts them but also reminds them to take charge of the situation and move on. Help us to help them to know You better because of their daily struggles and that You are there for them just as You are here for us. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

Our struggles should not cause us to give up on what God wants us to do.

Knowing that there will be struggles in our lives helps us plan ahead for them knowing God will get us through them.

When struggles come to our friends, we can be the friend who comforts and encourages advising them that God will help them through their struggles.

God is all we need in every struggle, in every battle, in every situation, every day.

If we go to God when we are struggling and encourage our friends to do the same, He will remind us that He is in control.

Philippians 4:13 “For I can do everything through Christ, who gives me strength.” (NLT)

Focus today: Despite the struggles we have today, let’s continue to focus on God and lean on Him to help us.
