Default The One Who comes alongside

The One Who comes alongside

by Alive to God

The Bible speaks of the Holy Spirit as the one who comes alongside to help us. The Holy Spirit is also called the Parakleet. This name means the one who comes alongside.
John 14:15-17 If you love me, obey me; and I will ask the Father and he will give you another Comforter, and he will never leave you. He is the Holy Spirit, the Spirit who leads into all truth.
The Holy Spirit wants to come alongside us to help us.
Romans 8:26 And in the same way—by our faith—the Holy Spirit helps us with our daily problems and in our praying.
Whatever you may be facing or going through, know that the person of the Holy Spirit is there to go through those things with you. Have you ever considered inviting Him into your life?
As human beings, discouragement is something we all deal with. But with the knowledge that God promises to be with us we can be encouraged.
Deuteronomy 31:8 The LORD himself goes before you and will be with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged.
If you have felt discouraged and tempted to despair take hold of this great fact and lets ask God to make His presence even more real to us.
Isaiah 42:3 He will not break the bruised reed, nor quench the dimly burning flame. He will encourage the fainthearted, those tempted to despair.

We stay sober and clean together - one day at a time!
God says that each of us is worth loving.
