Default When we are weak

WHEN WE ARE WEAK

There are going to be times when we feel we just can’t go on and we feel weak. When we are weak and we mess up, we set ourselves back a bit. When we are weak and give up, we get off track. When we are weak, however, we can identify where we need to improve. And, the quicker we get back on track, the better. God can help us when we are weak to get back on track, to identify what we are doing wrong and help us endure through it all.

Hebrews 12:1 “Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a huge crowd of witnesses to the life of faith, let us strip off every weight that slows us down, especially the sin that so easily trips us up. And let us run with endurance the race God has set before us.” (NLT)

Dear Lord, we sometimes grow weary of what we are doing here on earth. It may be in our jobs. It may be at home. It may just be a routine that we continue to do that has led us to boredom. And we have become weak. Help us to grow strong again where we have gone weak. Help us to lean on You and live a life of faith stripping off what slows us down. Lead us not into temptation but deliver us from evil s we can run the race You have planned for us. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

When we are weak, God can help us identify what we need to do to get back on track.

When we are weak, God can show us how to become strong again when we get into His word.

When we are weak, God can help us continue to move forward despite the circumstances.

When we are weak, God wants us to lean on Him so we can endure and do His will.

When we are weak, we can endure knowing we will one day be raised in glory and in strength.

1 Corinthians 15:43 “Our bodies are buried in brokenness, but they will be raised in glory. They are buried in weakness, but they will be raised in strength.” (NLT)

Focus: When we feel weak physically or mentally, we can lean on God for renewed strength to endure.
