Someone Cares


God Cares About Every Detail
God’s care for you is often revealed in the smallest details. My wife and I once lived in a college dorm for married couples. One evening we each wrote a letter, only to discover we were out of stamps.
Stamps cost 5 cents. We searched our room thoroughly, and found nine pennies.
“No problem” I told my wife, “I’ll just borrow a penny.”
As I left our room I heard the Lord’s still small voice saying, “Trust Me for the penny instead.”
I returned to our room and told my wife what I sensed God saying about my decision. We agreed to trust God together.
Moments later, I stepped out of our room and saw a friend in the hallway.
As we talked, I noticed he was holding something between his fingers. “Just curious” I said, “But what are you holding between your fingers?”
“Oh this?” he replied, “Nothing, just a penny. Here…you want it?” At that moment he flipped the penny into my hand and walked away.
I returned to our room holding the penny and exclaimed, “Look what God has provided!” We were both amazed and overwhelmed with the love and goodness of God…that we would care enough about us to even provide a penny.

God Knows Your Every Need
God not only cares, but He is the perfect caregiver. He sees the things no person can see. He knows about every need in your body and every need in your heart.
You can be certain that God created you, shaped you, and brought you into this world…
But now, thus says the Lord, who created you, O Jacob, And He who formed you, O Israel:
You can be certain that God wants you to live without fear because the ownership of your life is in His hands, His care, and His keeping…
Fear not, for I have redeemed you;
You can be certain that He is personally involved in every detail of your life.
I have called you by your name; You are Mine.
You can be certain that He will bring you through every difficulty.
When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; And through the rivers, they shall not overflow you. When you walk through the fire, you shall not be burned, Nor shall the flame scorch you.
You can be certain that He is with you.
Fear not, for I am with you;

Unfolding Love
Like flowers unfolding,
Like strong arms upholding,
His loving care comes to you.
Like words unending,
Like prayers ascending,
His loving care calls to you.
Like wings that are soaring,
Like dew in the morning,
His loving care covers you.
