But What if I Miss God?
But What if I Miss God?
And your ears will hear a word behind you, saying, This is the way; walk in it, when you turn to the right hand and when you turn to the left. - Isaiah 30:21 Sometimes we experience hesitation in life because we are afraid we might “miss God,” or do something wrong as we try to follow Him. Let me encourage you by telling you that if you miss God’s will for you somehow, you don’t have to worry— He’ll find you. I think we all get lost in life at times and need the mercy of God to show up and get us back on the right track. Today, you can thank God that He is faithful to straighten out any crooked path in front of you. If you are afraid of making wrong decisions about your direction in life, all you have to do is remember how much God loves you and look at the testimonies of the people who have gone before you. The Bible is full of miraculous stories of God’s guidance and provision. When we take a step of faith after praying and seeking God, if we do make a mistake, then God will help us get back on track. Thankfully, God can make that so‑called mistake somehow work out for our good. Prayer of Thanks I thank You, Father, that You see my heart. If I miss Your voice and Your direction in my life, I thank You that You’ll find me and get me going in the right direction. I trust Your guidance and I choose today not to live in fear of missing You. From the book The Power of Being Thankful by Joyce Meyer
