When you have been insulted, bullied or unjustly accused. . .
When you have been insulted, bullied or unjustly accused. Keep your head down and let the truth reveal itself.
1. Think before you react. Look inward. The truth will reveal itself. Don't fight back. Fighting back just baits the other person even more. React in a way that won't turn up the temperature. 2. Sometimes after taking an honest inventory of yourself and the situation, you may have to accept that the problem really is them and you're never going to change them. It's not up to you to change the toxic person. Standing up for yourself doesn't have to mean fighting. 3. Stop giving them power over your life. Get out of their orbit. Leave, walk away, don't subject yourself to them anymore. You can take away the power. Identify the topics or circumstances that trigger the behavior and take yourself out of it. Your goal should not be revenge, it should be peace of mind. That's your win. http://archive.aweber.com/awlist3702..._the_truth.htm
