C is for Could. As a friend reminded me, "Step Two says we could be restored to sanity. It doesn't say it would!!!
I am restored from that hopeless state of mind and body, still can be a little crazy, but it is not like the insanity of my disease. When I apply the Steps, I take myself out of the state of active addiction.
