Hurting
When we're newcomers to recovery we're going to be hurting there's no doubt about that and there is no other way. What often prolongs us from getting into our recovery is we try to find an easier, softer way, one that doesn't hurt. There is no such thing for just as long as we keep on trying to find one that will keep us from hurting, that is how long we keep on hurting for. Breaking this cycle is not done painlessly. It is from allowing ourselves to through the hurting that we're able to get beyond it, and get to where it is we want to be. This is the price we pay to get into recovery. We are always worth paying whatever that price may be by hurting, because once we have stopped hurting we'll know then what a great deal we got that we paid for by the hurting we had to go through to get into recovery.
