Default Standing strong against temptation

Do not lie to one another, seeing that you have put off the old self with its practices and have put on the new self, which is being renewed in knowledge after the image of its creator.

--Colossians 3:9-10

If you have fallen prey to temptation, remember, as a child of God, it’s never too late for you. God is in the business of restoring lives, and you are no exception!

If you’ve fallen into any kind of sin, the first step is to confess your sin to God and ask for His forgiveness. Then, the Bible says you must repent, or turn from, your sin.

Now, I know that some sins… like addictions… are more difficult to turn from than others. That’s why I would encourage you to surround yourself with godly people who will encourage you to keep from participating in activities that are destructive.

Most importantly, though, I would encourage you to fill your heart and mind with truth from God’s Word. In essence, crowd out the bad things in your life with good things… like eternal truth from the Bible!

No matter what’s in your past, God wants to turn your life around and do amazing things with your future. And I pray that you will take the steps to start this process today!

CROWD OUT THE BAD THINGS IN YOUR LIFE WITH GOOD THINGS… LIKE ETERNAL TRUTH FROM THE BIBLE.
