Default What works and what doesn't

When new I was willing to do some of the suggestions, but not all of them. There were things I wasn't willing to do. This was based on what I thought would work for me, and not the experience of what's worked for so many. These were only the things my pride would tolerate me doing. It was hard when I was told I didn't know what's best for me. In fact my sponsor said that if I did the opposite of what I thought that would usually be better for me. I really didn't know what worked. Half measures don't work, letting go completely does, doing what has worked for others does work. Rarely does it not work.
