"...the blood...cleanses us from all sin."
1 John 1:7 NKJV

John writes: 'But if we live in the light, as God does, we share in life with each other. And the blood of his Son Jesus washes all our sins away.' He gives us three ways to shine!
1) By living in the light. Live life bright! If you are hiding stuff or hoping your Mum doesn't find out, then you are living in the shadows not the light!
2) By sharing life with each other. Other people can inspire you to reach higher, tell you when you're out of line and help you when stuff is tough. Make sure you have people who are a bit older and a bit wiser who you are 100% honest with and will be 100% honest with you even when you don't what to hear it!
3) By dealing with your sin right away the moment you know you've messed up then make sure you 'fess up. Jesus died to deal with that sin, sort it with God and hold on to the forgiveness He gives you,. Get it sorted then get up and go on with God; don't wallow in self-condemnation.
God has put everything in you to blaze brightly in like a star. He's given you friends, family and leaders to draw out the best in you and the blood of Jesus to cleanse your heart. So what's stopping you! LIVE IN THE LIGHT! Word4U2Day
