Default God's Goodness

GODS GOODNESS

Showing Gods goodness requires we do the hard things sometimes. Being good isnt always easy. There will be difficult conversations. There will be actions to take where we stand alone and no one else will stand with us. But God will. God will help us through those hard conversations. He will help us take those difficult actions. When we stand alone for God, He is with us and we are never alone. He is with us because we are His chosen people and He will help us show the goodness He has to share with others even in the hard times.

1 Peter 2:9 But you are not like that, for you are a chosen people. You are royal priests, a holy nation, Gods very own possession. As a result, you can show others the goodness of God, for he called you out of the darkness into his wonderful light. (NLT)

Dear Lord, we want to show Your goodness. We want others to know how good You are and to show them they can know You as their personal Savior. We know there will be hard times. We know there will be hard conversations to have. But we also know You will be with us. Show us today who to reach out to. Show us today who share Your goodness with. Show us today who to share with and help us to be brave and step out boldly for You. In Jesus name. Amen.

When we stand alone for God, He is with us and we are never alone.

Ephesians 3:20 Now all glory to God, who is able, through his mighty power at work within us, to accomplish infinitely more than we might ask or think. (NLT)

When we immerse ourselves in the goodness of God, we can do anything.

Romans 13:14 Instead, clothe yourself with the presence of the Lord Jesus Christ. And dont let yourself think about ways to indulge your evil desires. (NLT)

Ephesians 5:15-16 So be careful how you live. Dont live like fools, but like those who are wise. Make the most of every opportunity in these evil days. (NLT)

Proverbs 3:27 Do not withhold good from those who deserve it when its in your power to help them. (NLT)

Focus: When we make the most of doing good, God will lead us away from evil.
