Went to a Meditation meeting and I heard a woman with over 30 years sober say, "I need this, I am so busy and have problems finding time for prayer and meditation." I was about 7 years sober and I was shocked. I thought, "How did you stay sober?"
It is important to pray, I don't think the words matter if they come from the heart. It is more important to take time to listen for God's answer. You can't hear a prayer's answer if you are too busy, chanting instead of trusting. That doesn't mean praying morning and night, it means praying when things come up and having the faith that your God has your back. It is His will, not mine. It is not my job to change His point of view and try to make things happen, in my time instead of His.
