So true, we have to take our program, principles, and purpose out of the rooms of recovery and into our home and community.
Recovery isn't about not picking up our drug of choice, it is about living a new way of life and not continuing to act out in our disease. Substitution doesn't work, it takes us back to our drug of choice, or on to something else. When one stops working, we go looking for more of something else, unless we fill that void with spiritual things.
