Default P-O-W-E-R Exert: Day 23

P-O-W-E-R Exert: Day 23 by SGLY Ministry

Today’s Scripture: But I will sing of Your power; Yes, I will sing aloud of Your mercy in the morning; For You have been my defense And refuge in the day of my trouble. Psalm 59:16 NKJV

Today’s Thought: Believers, we know we have His power within us. We know He has good works prepared for us to do. Now is the time we need to exert ourselves! We need to be using our good influences on the world around us. We need to be actively working with God daily, using the power He has put within us. “For the Kingdom of God is not just a lot of talk; it is living by God’s power.” 1 Corinthians 4:20 NLT

Today’s Prayer:
Dear God,
I want to do my part daily in Your Kingdom work. I want to be actively participating in what You are doing.
I don’t want to be sitting on the sidelines wasting time. I want to put forth the effort needed to do the good works You have prepared for me to do.
I want to be enthusiastically encouraging others in the faith and excitedly exclaiming Your mercy and love to the world!
Dear God, help me to keep focused on who I am in Christ and what I have been blessed with, so that I can exert myself daily for Your glory.

Today’s Action: Exert:

Put God’s power within you to good use.
Exert yourself daily as God instructs.
Take action to do the good works God has prepared.
Be enthusiastic! Encourage, exclaim, excite daily!

We stay sober and clean together - one day at a time!
God says that each of us is worth loving.
