Default God’s Power Is for You

God’s Power Is for You

I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit. John 15:5 NIV

Your life in Christ is not a do-it-yourself project. In other words, you are not left on your own to solve your problems or meet life’s challenges in your own strength. God is with you. He is your Source.

As you grow in your personal relationship with God—spending time talking with Him and studying His Word—you progressively learn to look to God at all times, leaning on His strength rather than your own. You begin to understand that He is your unfailing Provider.

Because God is always with you, you have access to everything you need to be victorious in life. Peace, joy, confidence, strength, wisdom, and everything you need to become more like Jesus—it’s all available to you in Christ Jesus.

“We can constantly and continually experience God's presence and power in our lives. When we belong to Him, there is never a time when His power is not accessible to us.” –Joyce Meyer

Study Suggestion: Think about a situation in your life right now that has you feeling powerless. Write down some scriptures that will remind you that you can lean on God for His power and strength. Here are a few to get you started:
Philippians 4:13 I can do all this through him who gives me strength.
2 Timothy 1:7 For the Spirit God gave us does not make us timid, but gives us power, love and self-discipline.
Ephesians 6:10 Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power.

We stay sober and clean together - one day at a time!
God says that each of us is worth loving.
