DAILY VICTORIES

There are times when we feel like we aren't getting anywhere in life. We feel like things are just not changing and that time is standing still. However, we can have and celebrate the daily victories in our lives. When we resist temptations, when we dont give in to addictions, when we have the right attitude toward helping someone - those are daily victories. And God is preparing us with these daily victories so He can give us something bigger and better to do in our lives.

Luke 16:10 "If you are faithful in little things, you will be faithful in large ones. But if you are dishonest in little things, you wont be honest with greater responsibilities." (NLT)

Dear Lord, help us to recognize and be grateful for the small victories in our lives. When we wake up, when we have time with family, when we experience all Your daily blessings. There are so many things in our lives that are small yet great. Help us to stop and be grateful for these things as well as when You help us to resist temptations. We know You are preparing us for greater things when we stay focused on You and celebrate daily victories and blessings from You. In Jesus' name. Amen.

When we give up the sin that is keeping us from drawing close to God, we will have victory.

When we show gratitude for even the small things in life, we are pleasing God.

We can celebrate daily victories knowing God is with us and is in control.

When we have to start out small and are faithful to God even in the small things, He is pleased.

Small beginnings of doing God's will causes Him to rejoice.

Zechariah 4:10a "Do not despise these small beginnings, for the LORD rejoices to see the work begin," (NLT)

Focus: God wants us to handle the small stuff by putting our trust in Him so we will know to do the same with the big stuff.

We stay sober and clean together - one day at a time!
