To get to the point where we're introduced to recovery we've all had to go through a lot and what we've been through will always be out there. That never changes and will always be there. We can return to it if we wish, to live it again and if we do, the result will probably be the same, leading us to where we are now, choosing recovery. Once we're in recovery we'll see that all we had gone through we had to go through in order for us to be able to be in recovery. Whenever we see others going through the same thing that we went through, we should realize that they could be being led to where we are now, and one day we may be able to help them, because we've been there ourselves. That's how this whole thing works. Also if what we've been through had been so much fun, we'd all be out there still doing it. For most of us it's more like a living hell, like a merry-go-round that would never stop one that we all wished we could get off of.
