My name is Judy. I hail from the north Georgia mountains. I have been sober(by the grace of God, who I wish to call my higher power) since 07-21-08, Life is such a joy. Every day is a bonus.

I found this quote, I try to read it often.

Gratitude unlocks the fullness of life.
It turns what we have into enough, and more.
It can turn a meal into a feast, a house to a home, a stranger to a friend.
Gratitude makes sense of our past, brings peace for today and creates vision for tomorrow.

It's my favorite.

Hello to Judy and all my sober friends new and old. I've been distracted from this site but not my sobriety. My name is Paul and I am an alcoholic. I'm still in Liberia, business not as good as I hoped but still trying. Still alive and living a Day at a Time.
