Default Small Straws In A Soft Wind - December

December 1: No matter how precarious the atmosphere feels to you, I hold you in the palm of My hand. You can depend on Me to bring you through every uncertain situation and secure your spiritual position. Things around you may be unpredictable and scary, but I am your very present help in times of trouble. Believe it! Psalm 46:1-3 God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Therefore we will not fear, even though the earth be removed, and though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea; though its waters roar and be troubled, though the mountains shake with its swelling.

December 2: You will be making decisions that will affect other people, so you must be mindful that you will influence those around you. Make a plan, but do not act on it until you know that is the will of God. You will know that because you will have peace of mind about the changes you will make. Philippians 2:12-13 Therefore, my beloved, as you have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling; for it is God who works in you both to will and to do for His good pleasure.

December 3: Maintain your composure in the days ahead. You are likely to step outside the boundaries of normalcy and exhibit unusual behavior. So, set a watch and spend time in My presence, says the Lord, where you can regain spiritual balance. Ephesians 6:10 Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might.

December 4: Refuse to allow shame and regret to continue to haunt you. You have repented and changed the course of your life. It is the purpose of the enemy to torment you, but you are redeemed and forgiven by the precious blood of Christ. It is truly time to move on. 1 John 1:9 If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
