The journey continues

Some of the days have been memorable, and others you forgot about a long time ago. Yet every experience has served to bring you where you are today.

Now is the time to continue. Now is when you can take the wisdom, the connections, the experiences and resources you’ve accumulated, and use them all to move forward.

You have the opportunity to avoid mistakes you’ve made before. You’re able to put hard-won lessons and skills to work in positive and meaningful ways.

There’s much more to see and do, to learn and discover. You can continue contributing to life in the ways you’ve always done and in new ways as well.

You’ve known challenges and triumphs and so much more. It’s all made you stronger, more purposeful, more caring toward those you share this existence with.

Now the journey continues, new possibilities await, and you’re better equipped than ever before. Step forward with confidence, with eager anticipation, and discover how far you will go.

Strong in your choices

Do not give your priceless moments away for nothing. Focus your attention, your resources, your energy where they will lift up life and create real benefit.

Choose the goals that challenge you, do the work that’s difficult. Seek goodness and meaning over comfort and expedience.

What comes easily disappears quickly. What you obtain with no sacrifice or no effort cannot possibly provide any lasting value.

Align yourself with truth, with what’s good, with what’s right, even if it’s not popular or convenient. Truth eventually makes itself unavoidable, and when that happens you definitely want to already be on its side.

Every choice you make will either add to the quality and integrity of your life, or detract from it. That is a serious hazard, and an enormous opportunity.

Today, tomorrow, every time, choose what you know is right, what you know is best. Be strong in your choices, and bring new and valuable rewards to all of life.

Pursue your best possibilities

Give your attention and energy to the reality of what is. At the same time, don’t fail to notice the possibilities of what can be.

There was a time when your possibilities seemed limitless. Though times have changed, and you have changed, many of the most desirable possibilities still await your action.

Here’s an amazing thing about the position you’re in. You can fully accept the way your life is, while also working to make significant improvements in it.

Be thankful for all you’ve experienced and all you have. Express that gratitude by using your abilities, your experience and resources to pursue your best possibilities.

You exist in a realm that’s rich with possibilities. That doesn’t mean the good things are easy to come by, but it does mean that new goodness is always possible.

Set aside your weariness and cynicism, and open yourself to the new possibilities of right now. Do the good work to bring the best of those possibilities into the reality of your world.

Improve understanding

If you always assume you are correct, before long you will never be correct at all. Your knowledge retains its value and relevance by being challenged.

Think of something you are certain about, then ask yourself this. What if it were not actually true?

In considering how and why and in what aspects you could be wrong, you work your way toward being more genuinely right. In challenging your certainties and assumptions, you improve their usefulness and truthfulness.

When others disagree with you, is your first impulse to work at convincing them toward your point of view? A more fruitful strategy could be to explore their perspective, respectfully and in detail.

You can do more convincing and more learning with questions than with statements. When you sincerely seek to understand you will gain valuable understanding, and you will be much more clearly understood.

If the only thing you do with your point of view is broadcast it, you’re causing it to become stale and useless. Choose instead to engage with other viewpoints in the service of understanding, cooperation, and real progress.

Word's of Wisdom.

How do you handle rude people? You don't. You let God handle them. Let Him be your defender. You've probably noticed that civilization is losing its civility. Small people belittle others, thinking it will make them feel better. But great people make other people feel Great. They have a lot of faith and humility to rest and trust God when they're misunderstood, under attack and when rumors are spread about them. They entrust themselves to the care of TMH (The Most High) knowing that He will not let them down and that He will be their defender, Today and Always.

Give your best

The moments that make life rich are the moments to which you give value. As each day goes by, make it your business to make more of those valuable moments.

Every tick of the clock brings another opportunity to add new substance, new treasure to life. Keep yourself in the habit of fulfilling those opportunities as they come.

Give your attention, your love, your curiosity, effort, kindness and joy to each moment. In your wake leave laughter, warmth, progress and goodness.

All the money, fame, and power in the world cannot equal the value of a day well spent. Claim that irreplaceable richness for yourself, for those you care about.

Choose to do what counts with the days and the opportunities you have. The difference you make is what makes life worth living.

Right now you are here to live, care, engage and add your own flavor to the wonder of existence. With what you have, using all you know and feel, wherever you are, give your best.

It is possible

You cannot see through the fog. Yet by taking one step at a time you can get through that fog.

You have no way of knowing all that will happen tomorrow. Even so, there are good and valuable things you can do today to improve tomorrow.

There’s no guarantee your efforts will always be rewarded. But you can be sure that if you make no effort at all there will be no reward.

It’s not a sure thing that you will successfully reach whatever you seek. But that’s no reason to give up.

On the contrary, it’s a reason to step forward with faith, with confidence, with perseverance. For even though success is uncertain it is possible, and the more you work on it the stronger its possibility grows.

Out there in the fog of uncertainty are valuable possibilities for your world. Keep going step by step, keep learning, working, innovating, and bring those good possibilities to life.

Live at your highest level

Right now, allow strength to surge within you. Notice the power of confidence as it rises from deep inside and bursts through all your awareness.

Feel enthusiasm gathering within and aiming you toward your best possibilities. Be energized by the courage that steadily streams out from your most profound purpose.

Ride upon the newness of this moment as the miracle of life pervades your whole existence. Invigorate your most honest thoughts and transform them into valuable action.

All the while, project a sincere and peaceful presence in what you do, in who you are. Engage in life with an endless reservoir of kindness and understanding.

Embrace every opportunity for joy. Marvel at the beauty and wonder that surround you all the time.

Let it all unfold naturally, generously, without worry or desperation. Give life your best and live at your highest level.

Against the wind

When conditions are ideal you can make much progress. Yet even when conditions are not so favorable there are good and useful things you can do.

It’s always great to have the encouragement, support and assistance of others. But even when you have little or no help you can move forward.

You’re wise to make the best of a good situation. Yet what’s even more powerful is to make the best of a difficult situation.

Sometimes the winds of fate and circumstance are blowing your way, and that’s great. Much of the time, though, you’ll need to make your way against the wind.

Sure, you can claim the powerful headwind as an excuse, and wait for better conditions, an no one will blame you for that. Or you can go forward anyway in the direction you’ve chosen, and make progress in spite of the difficulties.

The situations, events, and people in this world will not always align to push you ahead. Fortunately, that never has to stop you.

Outside your assumptions

Your assumptions exert a powerful and continuous influence over your thoughts, actions, priorities. Don’t let those assumptions be hijacked by your own neglect or by anyone else’s designs.

It’s easy to assume what you’ve always assumed and to never even realize you’re doing it. Then you wonder why you feel perpetually stuck.

It’s just as easy to assume what the loudest, most persistent voices tell you to assume. Then you wonder why you always feel disappointed.

It’s really quite a simple and refreshing thing to walk away from your most stultifying assumptions. All you have to do is entertain the possibility that there is a better possibility, that you could be mistaken.

Maybe what you assume to be too difficult, or uncomfortable, awkward or inconvenient could actually be highly liberating, inspiring, energizing. Perhaps that thing you never wanted to do can become the thing you always rush to do.

Notice your many assumptions, challenge them, explore the large and edifying space outside of them. And add great richness to every part of your life.

Keep pace with life

Today is one day and tomorrow is another. You don’t have to eat it all, drink it all, say it all, do it all right now.

Do what’s enough and then let it be. Pace yourself, and know you’ll have more opportunities in the days to come.

Live each day as it arrives, not before it appears, not after it is gone. You cheat yourself out of life when you rush ahead of it or linger behind it.

Fill each day with exactly one day’s worth of living. Then do the same with the next day, and the next.

Savor the moments, the sensations, the efforts, the times and experiences with others. Always remember that too much is not preferable to enough.

Give each bit of experience the time, attention, and zeal that it deserves, that you deserve. Keep pace with life and you’ll enjoy all its treasures to the highest degree.

Give beauty

Give life beauty. Make something beautiful, do something beautiful, experience and share something beautiful.

Life and beauty intertwine to the benefit of both. Beauty carries life and purpose and inspiration forward, and life makes beauty possible.

In the service of beauty you learn valuable skills. In the experience of beauty you discover important truths about who you are.

In your actions, your words, your attitude, be beautiful. Live in a way that adds unique beauty to the experience of the people you encounter.

Your efforts and commitments are about more than just getting by. You have the opportunity and the ability to contribute beauty to the world.

Notice the beauty, appreciate the beauty, feel the beauty. And expand on the beauty that is such a significant part of life.

Fulfill the potential

Give yourself credit for how far you’ve come. Then challenge yourself to build on it.

Life has not been perfect, yet you’ve successfully navigated your way to today. Now you can use your skills, intention, and persistence to move forward.

Recognize that you’ve established some positive momentum. Consider what you can do to grow that momentum and put it to purposeful use.

You have gained strength from everything you’ve been through. What good things can you now do to exercise that strength?

Through your life’s experiences you’ve earned wisdom and gained a unique perspective. You’re better positioned than ever before to act with purpose, passion, effectiveness, and understanding.

Your past has prepared you for the challenges of the future. Rise up, meet those challenges, and fulfill the potential that’s been accumulating throughout your whole life.
