Default Ministry

MINISTRY

Since everyone is different and has different skills and talents, it would make sense their ministry would be different as well. Ministry is not just for those who preach or work in the church. Ministry is for all believers to do. We are to build relationships with others to help them move from where they are now to the place God wants them to be. As a result, we can all bring glory to God. If we aren’t currently doing anything to minister to others, it’s time we began.

2 Corinthians 9:13 “As a result of your ministry, they will give glory to God. For your generosity to them and to all believers will prove that you are obedient to the Good News of Christ.” (NLT)

Dear Lord, we know we may be slacking in using our time wisely by ministering to others. We know there are people in our own homes, communities and churches who need help. Show us today what to do so we can better minster to them. We want to help them to get from the place they are in their lives to where You want them to be. Guide us right now to know our first step and give us strength and courage to take it. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

We can give God glory when we step out and minister to someone.

Ministry is not just for those who work in the church. It is a responsibility for all God’s people.

We all have different skills and abilities and we are use those to minister to others and bring glory to God.

When we minister to others, they will give glory to God.

When we tell others what God has done for us, we will bring glory to His name.

Romans 1:5 “Through Christ, God has given us the privilege and authority as apostles to tell Gentiles everywhere what God has done for them, so that they will believe and obey him, bringing glory to his name.” (NLT)

Focus: Write down what God has done for you and go tell someone about how He has changed your life.
