See the Wonders of God
See the Wonders of God
TODAY’S SCRIPTURE “Those who go down to the sea in ships, who do business on great waters, they see the works of the Lord, and His wonders in the deep.” (Psalm 107:23, NKJV) TODAY’S WORD from Joel and Victoria Friend, you and I were created to do business in deep waters. In other words, we’re not supposed to have little dreams or little plans. We’re supposed to get out there and have big dreams. We are supposed to go out into the deep things God has for us. But understand, when you’re out there in the deep waters, you can’t touch the ground. You can’t see the shoreline, and at times, it can get a little rocky. You may not always see how things are going to work out. But, Scripture tells us that deep calls to deep. In other words, God is the one who has called you to the deep waters. He is with you, and He knows there are deep things on the inside of you. When you are in those deep waters, you are not alone. God is with you, and He’s causing those deep things inside of you to come forth. If you feel like you are out in the deep today, if you feel like you are overwhelmed, remember, you are in the right place and God is with you. You will see the Wonders of God in the deep! A PRAYER FOR TODAY Father, thank You for calling me out into the deep. Today I surrender every area of my life to You. I choose to trust You knowing that You will show me Your wonders and glory in Jesus’ name. Amen.

I had the vision, of being in the deep end because I went one step too far and couldn't stop because I was on self-will, wanting to know, wanting to be in the know, instead of waiting for God's Will. We go seeking when in fact, He is there. We get ourselves in hot water, water over our head, and/or in deep water floundering, and wondering how we got there, without taking responsibility for our own actions and thoughts.
He is there, but so often, it is me who put me there. Either I am expecting Him to save me and I am back in my dis-ease, or I am not having thought and going along in my own way totally blocked from my God or turning Him out, because I want what I want.

Went into my bedroom to do a meditation, and I got the thought, I am sometimes a step ahead of my God, because I think I know how it is done and I don't wait for His Time and forget we are not on the same timetable.
Humiliation is finding out you don't know and prior to recovery, if I didn't know, I sure made sure I found out, so I wouldn't fail again. Humility is knowing you don't know and open to learning. My sponsor always said, "You are in today because of choice made, not just in today, but choices from the past, be it prior to recovery or in recovery." What worked yesterday, may not work in today, so I need to walk in Step with my God, instead of walking in front of or behind Him.
