There Are Times


I come here with a lot of hope
Today I don't have to hold on the rope

Yet there are days that I would like to quit
But I know what will happen if I take a hit

A lot of times we look for something that isn't there
You wonder other times if people really even care...

There are the days when you can be somewhat content
There are the days that you don't want to pay rent...

You wonder if your life is headed the right way
There are times when you want to go astray

There are the days that you don't want to get out of bed
There are some-days that you would just assume be dead...

There are days when you are very depressed
Than there are days that you can leave it all to rest

There are times when you are ready for change
Than there are days that life seems so plain

One thing is for sure that we must know
That nothing will be good if we drink alcohol or do dope

Those are the things that we must not do
There are times when we must be rude....

I tell you this that life isn't that bad
So go ahead and give up your bag!

Come into the life that was meant to be
Excuse me now I must pee :-)
