Default Meekness

WORD O’ GRAM: MEEKNESS

Measurement of willingness.
Eager to move in an instant.
Earnest for direction.
Keenly perceptive to an inner nudge.
Nearer to God’s river by bowing low.
Ears trained in humble submission.
Speaking little, listening much.
Satisfied to wait for what is important.

“A meek spirit is taunt between the readiness to move and the willingness to wait.”

Zeph 3:11-12 NKJV
For then I will take away from your midst those who rejoice in your pride, And you shall no longer be haughty in My holy mountain. I will leave in your midst a meek and humble people, and they shall trust in the name of the LORD.

Matt 5:5 NKJV
Blessed are the meek, for they shall inherit the earth.

Zeph 2:3 NKJV
Seek the LORD, all you meek of the earth, who have upheld His justice. Seek righteousness, seek humility. It may be that you will be hidden in the day of the LORD's anger.

Isa 11:4 NKJV
But with righteousness He shall judge the poor, and decide with equity for the meek of the earth.

Ps 37:9-11 NKJV
For evildoers shall be cut off; But those who wait on the LORD, they shall inherit the earth. For yet a little while and the wicked shall be no more; Indeed, you will look carefully for his place, but it shall be no more. But the meek shall inherit the earth, and shall delight themselves in the abundance of peace.
