Being Content

Thought for the Day

"No matter where we find ourselves, many times we desire more. The desire to better ourselves in normal; however, we need to be okay with where we are at the moment. Where we are now is all part of the journey God has us on. If we can't learn to be happy in the present, we may never be truly content as we will always be chasing happiness and never catching it as we continually try to reach for the idea of an always better future."

Father, I am always trying to see a better future for myself. While I do, please don't let me lose sight of the many blessings You have brought into my life. When I take the time to look at where I am at this moment, I realize how much You have given me and I am very grateful and happy that You have found me worthy of Your favor. Amen.
