Default Repent and Forgive

REPENT AND FORGIVE

If we are honest with ourselves, we will admit we mess up every day. There is something we do wrong in our lives each day. We may have a bad thought. We may take a wrong action. We may misuse our words. However, one great thing about doing wrong is that God forgives. When we realize the wrong we have done, repent, He will forgive us. Every time. He knows we are not perfect. He knows we mess up. And He loves us anyway. And forgives. How awesome is that?

2 Corinthians 5:19 “For God was in Christ, reconciling the world to himself, no longer counting people’s sins against them. And he gave us this wonderful message of reconciliation.” (NLT)

Dear Lord, help us to realize what wrong things we do in our lives. Help us to recognize the sin we have in our lives. We want to be cognizant of wrong thoughts, words and actions. We want to be aware of them all so we can repent and turn back to You. Thank You for Your continued forgiveness of our sins. Thank You for not giving up on us. We love You and thank You, Lord. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

When we repent and turn from wrong, God will forgive us.

We are so blessed to have God in our lives who loves us and continuously forgives us.

If we want to know what true love is, we need to get to know God better.

God knows we are not perfect and He loves and forgives us anyway.

We should learn from God’s word about what He does to those who refuse Him.

Jeremiah 36:3 “Perhaps when the people of Judah see in writing all the terrible things I will do to them, they will repent. And then I can forgive them.” (NLT)

Focus: No matter what we have done, God is ready to forgive if we are ready to repent.

We stay sober and clean together - one day at a time!
God says that each of us is worth loving.
