We Who Are Powerless
We'd all like to think we have power over something, if not only over ourselves, but the reality is, for all of us none of us do, but that doesn't stop any of us from trying to believe otherwise. To have power is a believe that all of us who are in recovery have come to learn all about first hand, and the first thing that all of us have learned is that we're really powerless and that its okay that we are, because it is by being powerless that all of us have come to find something that's better than having power. Having power over something has its advantages but these fail in comparison to what all of us who are powerless get when we all come together because when we do we all get something that's way more meaningful to all of us then it means to us to have power. This is not like anything else we have ever encountered before. The only way anyone can experience this is by being powerless over something and admitting that we are, and then joining in with others who are also powerless. We won't want to miss out on doing this and none of us ever have to, and all that we have to do is realize we are powerless and from that moment on we won't be.
