Default New And Confused

In time all of recovery will make sense to us but at the beginning recovery doesn't make any sense to any of us. All the different parts that go into making recovery what it is, can be very confusing to us when we're new. After we come into recovery lots of what we hear and see just doesn't make any sense to us, and doesn't seem like it would work for us. This leads all of us to be reluctant to try to do any of it. None of this will ever make sense to any of us until after we have tried doing it, and after we have it will all make sense to us then. It is only by taking a leap of faith that any of us will ever try to do anything that doesn't make sense to us, and all of us will need to do that here when it comes to us wanting and needing to be in recovery. It is only by being willing to take that leap of faith that any of us have ever joined recovery. And it is a good thing that we did, because after we did it all made sense to us and we now know it's what we needed to do.
