Not Like Anything Else

When we come together in recovery there is something we can sense that's also there. To grasp exactly what that is can be very difficult, but nonetheless it's always there for those who choose to be in recovery and not there for those who don't. It may be that there's a possibility for a whole new life, different from anything we've never known, or have ever been part of before that's waiting for us in recovery. It's very possible there's a part of us that can sense this, and when we get together there's an excitement we can feel of what that life could be like, and also knowing that if we stay with our recovery we'll surely find this out.
