Hello everyone. My name is Tim and I'm in my first week of recovery. I've been around recovery programs for years but I am again in my first week of recovery. I'm looking for something to do different this time. I'm looking forward to getting to know everyone and hopefully this will be the time. Well thank you for reading my introduction.

Welcome Tim, thank you for signing in and sharing. There is information on many topics, and for me, 12 Steps are 12 Steps. I qualify for just about any room you put me in.
This disease is mental, emotional, spiritual and physical. I got the physical, then the spiritual and then the mental, and I have to work the program, one day at a time, to work on my emotional. I no longer desire to drink and do drugs, I have to work on the thoughts that lead to my dis-ease in the first place, which made me looking outside of myself for something to make me feel better. I am an addict who used alcohol, food, pills, relationships, and other substances, so I qualify for AA, NA, Al-Anon, Nar-Anon, CoDA, ACoA, and OA. I also went to CA, because it says, and any other mind altering substance.
