Defend the poor and fatherless: do justice to the afflicted and needy. Deliver the poor and needy: rid them out of the hand of the wicked.

My thoughts were love is unconditional. I don't think the cat is as willing as the little girl, but willing to endure being held because he does care. For me, it is a precious moment, has nothing to do with evil or law, it just is.
