Give thanks in every circumstance

1 Thessalonians 5:18 'Give thanks in every circumstance, for this is God's will for you in Christ.'

- As children of God we can really trust in His hand on our lives.
- We can be thankful because the Lord is always working things out for our good.
- His plans and purposes for your life will be realized.
- At every turn in the road, we should remember to be thankful.

PRAYER: Lord, I choose to give thanks for all that You have done for me and for all that You will still do, because You are my faithful Father. Amen.

A grateful alcoholic/addict will never have a reason to pick up if they remember to be grateful. Just the fact that I am clean and sober today, is reason enough and yet I get all these extra things that make up my day.

God is as He shows Himself to me in today. I can see His Handy Work around me and I can see Him doing for me, things that I couldn't do for myself.
