I am but a vessel,
tied to a rock on the shore line. With each wave that comes in I am beaten against the shore, and as beautiful as it is, I don't see the damage being done to the shore, I only see my injuries. And the biggest thing I overlook is the rock that I am tied to, that is resting just far enough below the surface that I can't see it, and I don't even realize that it is holding me down, therefore I will never cut the rope.
