GLORY IS GREATER
Loved ones are sick. Job is a hassle. Bills are past due. It seems when one bad situation gets better, there is another one right around the corner. How we deal with tough situations will either help us grow stronger or leave us drained. It’s all about perspective. When we keep our eyes on God and give Him the glory in all things, we will see the troubles in our lives differently. When we take time to put things in perspective, we will understand our future glory is greater than anything we have to deal with while we are here on this earth.
Romans 8:18 “Yet what we suffer now is nothing compared to the glory he will reveal to us later.” (NLT)
Dear Lord, we know so many are struggling in life. Some have health issues. Some are without money. Others are dealing with tough relationships. There are so many things going on in the world that really make us wonder if the end of times is near. However, we know Your promises. We know Your word. We know Your power. And we are so grateful we have You to remind us of the glory which has yet to be revealed. We look toward that day and know You are in control. Thank You, Lord. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
For future reference, read God’s word. We can find all we need to deal with present situations and past regrets.
When we are struggling, we can meditate on the great promises we have from God about our future in His Kingdom!
How we deal with tough situations will either help us grow or leave us drained. It’s our choice.
When we focus on our problems rather than focusing God, we can’t give Him the glory He deserves.
Despite what we are going through, we can focus on God and remember we are heirs to His glory.
Romans 8:17 “And since we are his children, we are his heirs. In fact, together with Christ we are heirs of God’s glory. But if we are to share his glory, we must also share his suffering.” (NLT)
Focus: Suffering is temporary. God’s glory is forever.
