CONTINUE TO BE HOLY
Holiness requires a continuous walk with God. When we step away from Him, we separate ourselves from who He is and begin to conform to the things of the world. When we remain in Him, He will produce fruit in us that will help others to know Him as well. When we choose to continue to live holy lives, we are choosing to remain in God’s word. We are choosing to stay close to Him. We are choosing to do what He calls us to do despite the obstacles that come our way. We are choosing to continuously learn and grow in Him.
John 15:5 “Yes, I am the vine; you are the branches. Those who remain in me, and I in them, will produce much fruit. For apart from me you can do nothing.” (NLT)
Dear Lord, we all have examples of what happens when we drift away from You. Our world begins to fall apart and we aren’t able to do anything that brings honor to You. We want to remain in You and You remain in us so we can produce much fruit. We want to be holy and obedient to You throughout our day and our lives. We know we have to give up our old self and allow You to live in us. Guide us today and keep us strong in Your word. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
In order to receive holiness through the Spirit, we need to have faith in God.
God wants us to rely on Him to live the life He has planned for us. One that is holy, righteous and giving.
When we remain in Jesus, He will remain in us and help us grow so we can share His word with others.
Without God we can do nothing.
When we choose to trust in Jesus, we will know His love and we will know how to be holy.
Galatians 2:20 “My old self has been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me. So I live in this earthly body by trusting in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.” (NLT)
Focus: Remain in God’s word. Allow Him to work through you and make you holy.
