My boyfriend is taking Suboxin to stop cravings

Is Suboxin supposed to make him high? He looks very high or sleepy like he can barely keep his eyes open each time he takes it .

Don't know about that drug personally. Drugs affect each person differently. Pills are dried up alcohol to me. I did a search and didn't like the results I got, perhaps you could do the same.

You can't crave alcohol or drug unless you pick up. They are an inanimate object until such a time as you make a decision to pick them and ingest or use them in one form or another. You can obsess about them and allow them to take over your thinking, but the actual body craving doesn't start until you take that first one.

He needs to talk to his doctor. He needs to want to get help, you can't do it for him. You can make suggestions, but unless he is willing to change, there isn't much you can do but pray that he gets help. I would suggest that you look in the Al-Anon section.
