T is for Trust. Trust in God. Trust that He will see you through each day. Invite Him into your day and ask for His Will for you in today.

As the old hymn says, "Trust and obey, for there is no other way."

T is for Thought Stopping. When you start doing the stinking thinking. STOP! Turn your thought process around.

T is for Try. All I am asked to do is try. Try to be the best me I can be in today. Some days I fall short of that, that is why there are Steps 6 and 7. It isn't about how many times you try and fail, it is about how willing you are to pick yourself up and try again.

T is for Treatment. My sobriety journey started when I went into treatment for depression and alcoholism. It saved my life!

T is for Tools of Recovery. Pick up the tools of recovery before you pick up a drink or a drug. Pick up the phone, pick the literature, pick up a newcomer or a fellow member and take them to a meeting. Pick yourself up, show up for the day, and take it one day at a time.

T is for Think. Give little thought of the past, don't project into the future, and keep your thoughts focused in today. Think before you speak.

T is for Too. This program will work for you too. It has stood the test of time. It worked for Bill W. and Dr. Bob. The AA program has been adapted by other fellowships to help treat other forms of drug addiction.
