When I came into recovery, I was very fragmented and I had this big void within as a result of letting go of my drug of choice, and the many others, I used as a substitute. It all lead to the same soul sickness. The the program of AA and the God of my understanding, I was made whole.

Endorse yourself for trying again. All we lose is our dry date. The failure is in not trying again. The normal thing for an alcoholic to do is drink. The normal thing for an addict, is to use drugs, no matter what form they take.

The miracle is that, just for today, I choose not to use, no matter what.

I found the program, and through the program, I found my God and I found myself.
