April 1: Reach for Me, says the Lord, especially when you feel discombobulated. Quiet your soul so that you can evaluate what it is that is keeping you from inner peace. You may not be able to do anything to allay your discontent outwardly, but you have all power and authority over your thoughts and emotions. Find that place of stillness in yourself. Psalm 46:10 Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth!

April 2: You are entering unfamiliar territory, and you will feel a bit lost at first, but know that where you are going is higher and more meaningful to your spiritual growth. You must maintain your sense of balance as you progress so that your transition is well ordered. This is nothing to be afraid of. Move ahead in faith and assurance that I am with you, says the Lord. Psalm 56:3 Whenever I am afraid, I will trust in You.

April 3: When you are looking for a substantial breakthrough, remember that sometimes it is like the breaking of a dam that begins with a small leak and grows bigger as it develops. Be patient, and continue to stay alert to recognize the progress you are making. It will begin with a trickle and grow until the obstacles are completely washed away. Matthew 7:7-8 Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives, and he who seeks finds, and to him who knocks it will be opened.

April 4: Look back to remember where you have come from and evaluate your progression. This will give you a starting point in your forward development. It is important for you not to get lost in past events so that you can forge ahead with hope and courage. Renew your faith, and allow Me to be your Guide, says the Lord. Lamentations 3:22-23 Through the mercies of the Lord we are not consumed, because His compassions fail not. They are new every morning; great is Your faithfulness.

April 5: Do not panic when you encounter unexpected circumstances that require your attention. Stay calm, and I will lead you through every situation with precision, says the Lord. These are days of complexity, that are beyond ordinary, but I will give you the strength and ability to endure and overcome. Deuteronomy 31:6 Be strong and of good courage, do not fear nor be afraid of them; for the Lord your God, He is the One who goes with you. He will not leave you nor forsake you.

April 6: Even though the world seems to be filled with evil and hatred, you are not of the world. You have the ability to create an environment of love and respect. How you feel and what you do will make a difference in your atmosphere, and it is more propitious to do what is good and kind rather than what is selfish and defensive, says the Lord. Let My Spirit lead you. John 17:16 They are not of the world, just as I am not of the world.

April 7: Beating yourself up because you feel like you do not measure up will only serve to set you back spiritually. There is no upside to self-degradation. Begin to look at how far you have come and what you can do instead of what you cannot do. Remember that you can always rely on Me to help you through the rough patches. Do not be afraid. Isaiah 41:10 So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand"

April 8: Refuse to drown yourself in sorrow. You cannot change what has happened or what you are going through, but you can access the peace that passes understanding. Put your trust in the truth of the Word of God, and begin by taking your first step into a new day of possibilities. Be strong and of good courage, says the lord. Philippians 4:6-7 Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

April 9: There are things that you have control over and can do something about, and there are things beyond your control that you have no ability to change. Do what you can with every situation, and leave the rest to Me, says the Lord. Trust Me with the issues in your life, and get yourself in a place of rest and peace by trusting Me. Proverbs 3:5-6 Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths.

April 10: Do not be afraid of the changes that you have made or second guess what you have done. You are embarking on a new phase of life and circumstances that will be unfamiliar, but you will adjust. You will forge ahead one step at a time; one day at a time. Take those steps without fear or trepidation. I am with you to show you the way, says the Lord. Joshua 1:9 Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.

April 11: You have issues that still need to be resolved, and you are doing your best to make things right. However, what you are dealing with involves more than just your desires to bring resolution. The ability to change circumstances is not solely your responsibility. Trust Me to bring you through this difficult time, says the Lord. Proverbs 3:5-6 Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall [a]direct your paths.

April 12: This is a time to put things into perspective. Life is full of disappointments and tragedies, some more drastic than others, but still a part of living and growing. There are lessons to be learned and obstacles to overcome. These are times when you can strengthen your faith and lean on Me for wisdom and guidance, says the Lord. Romans 5:1-4 Therefore, having been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom also we have access by faith into this grace in which we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God. And not only that, but we also glory in tribulations, knowing that tribulation produces perseverance; and perseverance, character; and character, hope.

April 13: Be bold and strong. Resolutely leave the past behind. Do it on purpose, and set your heart on what you can do to move on. Nothing will change the mistakes that you have made. Be finished with regret and dread. Ask for and receive My forgiveness. I will be with you in your new beginning, says the Lord. 1 Corinthians 15:57 But thanks be to God who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.

April 14: Regroup after encountering and dealing with unusual circumstances. Take time to relax and recover. Keep the faith. I am your help in trouble, and I will give you the strength you need to move on with conviction and courage, says the Lord. Philippians 4:13 I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.

April 15: This is a season of changes both great and small. It will be a time when you have to face and accept the current flow of your life and move on with the assurance that I am with you every step of the way, says the Lord. Lean on Me for courage and wisdom as you forge ahead. You are not alone. April 16: This is a brand new day in which you can choose to excel or dump down in your sorrow. You will either embrace your possibilities and move forward or stay stuck. Your mindset will govern your actions. Take the time to control your mood, says the Lord. Deuteronomy 30:19 I call heaven and earth as witnesses today against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing; therefore choose life, that both you and your descendants may live.

April 17: Do not be so hard on yourself. You know that condemnation is not what you need if you are going to have a breakthrough. Doing the best you can with what you have will suffice. So pick yourself up, dust yourself off and start all over again. Kindness is a virtue, and that includes being kind to yourself. 1 Corinthians 13:4-6 Love suffers long and is kind; love does not envy; love does not parade itself, is not puffed up; does not behave rudely, does not seek its own, is not provoked, thinks no evil; does not rejoice in iniquity, but rejoices in the truth; bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.

April 18: You have been challenged and tested, and you have grown spiritually in the process, but you may not realize the progress you have made. It will become apparent as you continue on and draw closer to Me, says the Lord. You will be rewarded. Galatians 6:9 And let us not grow weary while doing good, for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart.

April 19: You are slowly but surely coming to an end of your days of being cattywampus. It would be good to spend time in quiet meditation as you seek to rise to a higher level of spiritual awareness. Arise from your place of despair to a level that is a cleaner and more wholesome existence, says the Lord. Philippians 4:8 Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy--meditate on these things.

April 20: Beloved, it is My wish that you learn to be gentle with everyone including yourself. The world is full of harshness and severity, but you must be kind, tender and understanding. Only then will you be led by My Spirit into blessing and abundance. Remember that what you sow is the substance of your harvest, says the Lord. Galatians 5:22-23 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, long-suffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control. Against such there is no law.

April 21: When you feel like you do not belong and that you are just flapping in the breeze, know that you are not alone. I am with you, says the Lord, and I will not leave you nor forsake you. Quiet your soul, and grasp the awareness that you are as worthy as those who seem to have a ton of people who care about them. You are not alone. Matthew 28:20b And lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age. Amen.

April 22: Stay focused and grounded in these troubled times. You will have a tendency to try to fix things that are beyond your control. Make a concerted effort to stay within the boundaries of your authority and ability, and find your peace in things you can actually do something about. Luke 10:19 Behold, I have given you authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy; and nothing shall in any wise hurt you.

April 23: These are days of reflection, a time to look back and see how far you have come spiritually, emotionally, mentally and physically. But, let there be no condemnation and only recognition. Everything you have endured has been a stepping stone of growth in the spirit. Rise up and take the next step, says the Lord. Jeremiah 29:11 For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope.

April 24: Refuse to get stuck in past regrets. Those days are gone, and there is nothing you can do to change what was. However, you can make changes now that will yield better results going forward. Ask for wisdom and guidance, and follow the leading of My Spirit, says the Lord. I will accompany you on your journey. Philippians 3:13-14 Brethren, I do not count myself to have apprehended; but one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind and reaching forward to those things which are ahead, I press toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.

April 25: It is time to consider the changes that are necessary for you to prosper here and now and in the days ahead. You can rely on Me, says the Lord, to shut the doors that need to be shut and to open doors that need to be open for you to thrive. Do not be afraid to let go of the past; it will be necessary before you can embrace a new reality. Isaiah 43:18-19 Do not remember the former things, nor consider the things of old. Behold, I will do a new thing, now it shall spring forth; shall you not know it? I will even make a road in the wilderness and rivers in the desert.

April 26: Separate yourself from the grief you bear. You continue to tolerate the pain and sorrow for what you have lost, and it is time to look to a new day in which you can find peace and joy again. That is not to belittle the emotional pain you have endured, but to deliberately reach beyond it until you find a place of serenity. John 14:27 Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.

April 27: There are things you can do now that have been impossible in the past for a variety of reasons. The doors are opening and possibilities are presenting themselves for your consideration. Be sensitive to current opportunities to move beyond where you have been stuck. The days ahead must be taken one step at a time instead of one leap at a time. Prepare for a methodical and consistent process, says the Lord. Isaiah 42:9 Behold the former things have come to pass, and new things I declare; before they spring forth I tell you of them.

April 28: Times are changing and what you have been worried about will come to a conclusion. But, you must deliberately let go of the things that have kept you bound and unable to progress. Reevaluate where you are and where you want to be in life and take the next step in achieving that goal. 2 Corinthians 4:16-18 Therefore we do not lose heart. Even though our outward man is perishing, yet the inward man is being renewed day by day. For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, is working for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory, while we do not look at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen. For the things which are seen are temporary, but the things which are not seen are eternal.

April 29: For those who feel like you have been on a roller coaster ride in an amusement park, take a deep breath, and relax. Things will begin to smooth out and be more manageable. Lean on Me and set your heart and faith on a new beginning with renewed hope and faith in Me, says the Lord. Romans 12:2 And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.
