FOCUS ON GOD’S POWER

There are so many good things that come from God’s power. When we focus on His power, we are saying we are not going to attempt to do things on our own again. We are saying we are submitting to Him to embrace His power, His mercy, His grace and His love. And we are saying we are allowing Him to work through us and give us the wisdom and focus we need to do what is right according to His will and not our own.

2 Corinthians 1:12a “We can say with confidence and a clear conscience that we have lived with a God-given holiness and sincerity in all our dealings. We have depended on God’s grace, not on our own human wisdom.” (NLT)

Dear Lord, we know when we confess our sins and ask for forgiveness that You forgive. We also know when we say or claim something in Your name, that Your will can be done. We say and we claim today a life of focusing on You. We say and claim today total dependence on You, Your grace and Your wisdom. Help us to continue to completely focus on You all day, every day, for the rest of our lives. We put our trust and hope in You. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

When we focus on God’s power, His will can be done.

Knowing God is all we need, we should continue our focus on Him each and every day.

When we speak out about God to others, we will help them be aware to focus more on Him.

When we claim God’s mercy and grace and focus on living for Him, He will give us the wisdom we need to do His will.

We have no excuse for not knowing God and not focusing on His will.

John 1:20 “For ever since the world was created, people have seen the earth and sky. Through everything God made, they can clearly see his invisible qualities—his eternal power and divine nature. So they have no excuse for not knowing God.” (NLT)

Focus today: Be confident. Know God. Have faith. Depend on God. Commit to focusing on God each and every day.

This was part of my meditation today. Going to my God for strength and courage to work through the pain. I am really hurting at the moment, so I know that I need to call it a night. It aggravates my arthritis when I sit on the computer too long, and some are good day and some not so good. I need to listen to my body, especially when my God endorses it in my meditations and tells me to take care of myself.

Even after being at the chiropractor's this morning, I am still hurting. On my way home, I had the thought, "Surrender doesn't mean to quit, it means to give over." I laid down and slept 2 hours this afternoon, guess my body needed it.
