YOUR DAILY INSPIRATION

“Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus” Romans 3:24.

I thank God every day for His grace. I want you to know that no matter what you have done, how much you have messed up, how much you think you have failed, God’s grace and redemptive power is able to lift you, is able to save you. The blood of Jesus Christ cleanses from all sin and the amazing thing is, He wants to do it. He is willing to forgive you. Our Lord and Savior do not hold a grudge. We tend to think God looks at us as men do. The eye that God sees us through is an eye of pure, unconditional love. Never say you don’t deserve it. None of us do. Grace is undeserved favor and God extends that to us every day.

There was a time when I thought I did not deserve God’s grace but He gave it to me anyway. I had stopped listening to Him. I wanted to do my own thing. I did not want to hear what He had to say any more. I thought, in all my frailty, ignorance and misconstrued ideas, that His rules were too much for me. I thought I was in my right to do what I wanted to do. I felt justified doing wrong because I felt I was wronged. What a trick of the enemy. I acted out of character just because I could. There is nothing uglier and no situation messier than when you choose to let go off God’s hands. But GRACE…God’s undeserved favor enfolded me and brought me back. His grace is greater than all my sins.

There is someone reading this today that think you are too far gone, you think you have messed up too badly, you judge yourself based on human standards and the conditional love that humans give. God is not like man. The blood of Jesus can cleanse and will cleanse you from all sin if you just turn to Him and ask. His grace will be extended to you if you let Him in. God knows me, with all my faults and failures. He knows the very secrets of my heart, yet He loves me still. What friend do you know that is able to do that? He wants to be your friend. He wants to justify you freely by His grace through the redemptive power of Christ.

Fear is our greatest enemy. Do not allow fear to prevent you from experiencing a full and abundant life.

Father, I want t thank you for your grace. I pray today that you will help me to accept your grace and unconditional love. That I may be able to boldly come before you and have sweet fellowship and friendship with you. I know now it is not because of anything I have done but I am thankful for your mercy and your grace. Amen.

Thought that I was unredeemable and unforgivable. It helped to know that I was not my disease. I took the drug, and the drug took me. I had to go to my God, to bring me back.
