Life Lessons
Our life on earth is a learning process. We are in "school" whether we realize it or not.
What are the main lessons we are supposed to learn in life?
God is trustworthy.
PSALM 118:8 NKJ 8 It is better to trust in the LORD Than to put confidence in man.
TITUS 1:2 NKJ 2 in hope of eternal life which God, who cannot lie, promised before time began,
1 CORINTHIANS 1:9 NKJ 9 God is faithful, by whom you were called into the fellowship of His Son, Jesus Christ our Lord.
Be loving.
GALATIANS 5:14 NLT 14 For the whole law can be summed up in this one command: "Love your neighbor as yourself."
1 JOHN 4:21 NKJ 21 And this commandment we have from Him: that he who loves God must love his brother also.
1 JOHN 3:23 NKJ 23 And this is His commandment: that we should believe on the name of His Son Jesus Christ and love one another, as He gave us commandment.
Be thankful.
1 THESSALONIANS 5:18 NKJ 18 in everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.
COLOSSIANS 3:15 NKJ 15 And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to which also you were called in one body; and be thankful.
Respect authority.
EPHESIANS 6:2 NLT 2 "Honor your father and mother." This is the first commandment with a promise:
1 PETER 2:17 NLT 17 Respect everyone, and love your Christian brothers and sisters. Fear God, and respect the king.
ROMANS 13:7 NLT 7 Give to everyone what you owe them: Pay your taxes and government fees to those who collect them, and give respect and honor to those who are in authority.
SAY THIS: Help me Lord to learn my lessons.
