Who is in control of your feelings?
Life is going to throw us difficulties, but we can choose how we face them. We can choose to let our circumstances stress us out and overwhelm us or we can choose to take charge of our feelings and be happy regardless of what is going on around us. Self-control is a great tool that God has given us, but it only helps us when we use it.
This Week's Scripture: For God did not give us a spirit of timidity (of cowardice, of craven and cringing and fawning fear), but [He has given us a spirit] of power and of love and of calm and well-balanced mind and discipline and self-control. 2 Timothy 1:7
Tip from Joyce: “You can choose to be in control, instead of letting your circumstances control you.” – Joyce Meyer
