JUST WANDERING
Ever wondered what the people would have done if they hadn’t wandered 40 years in the wilderness. If they hadn’t spent 40 years complaining, trying to do things their way and getting sidetracked. What if God would have said, “Hey do things my way and all will be well?” Well, He did…and they didn’t listen. Ever wondered what you may be doing or not doing that is causing you to wander around for years not getting anywhere. Maybe it’s time we decided to start listening to God and begin focusing on Him.
Proverbs 17:24 “Sensible people keep their eyes glued on wisdom, but a fool’s eyes wander to the ends of the earth.” (NLT)
Dear Lord, we come to You today for help and guidance. We know You are ready to show us Your way and we submit our lives to You today. Help us to stop doing things our way. Help us to stop complaining about what is going on in our lives. Help us to turn to You and completely focus on You. We want to stop wandering and start serving You as You have called us to do. Show us the way, Lord. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
We can stop wandering away from God when we start focusing on Him.
God wants us to remember to focus on Him so we can keep from wandering away.
The things of the world pull us away from God and cause us to wander for years without doing anything for Him.
What actions do you need to take today to stop wandering away from God?
Rebellion and pride keep us wandering away from God.
If we want the right relationship with God, we have to stop wandering away from His teachings.
2 John 1:9 “Anyone who wanders away from this teaching has no relationship with God. But anyone who remains in the teaching of Christ has a relationship with both the Father and the Son.” (NLT)
Do you continue to do things your way day after day, night after night and wonder why you aren’t getting anywhere? It’s because you are wandering. Stop wondering and wandering and start focusing on God!
Focus today: Stop wondering and wandering and start focusing on God!
