New Year Countdown Day 4 by SGLY Ministry
REJOICE
“Rejoice in the Lord always, Again I will say, rejoice!” Philippians 4:4 (NKJV)
–
Today’s Thought:
I will, always, in good times and bad, I will say “Rejoice!”
Today’s verse was written while Paul was in prison for preaching the gospel.
Paul is not giving us an option here. He is saying we must choose to rejoice always, no matter what the circumstances are.
We must make rejoicing a priority everyday. There will always be days we don’t feel like it or days when we have every earthly reason not to be joyful, that is why we must choose to rejoice always. As we do, our rejoicing it will uplift us and glorify God.
And my soul shall be joyful in the LORD; It shall rejoice in His salvation. Psalm 35:9 (NKJV)
This verse was written while David was seeking vindication from his enemies who were telling lies about him and pursuing him to kill him.
Take some time today to think upon these verses and then, no matter what your circumstances are, choose to Rejoice and be Joyful, like Paul and David!
ALWAYS
Outwardly circumstances may be distressing but inwardly: I will rejoice ALWAYS–Again I will be joyful always!
ANYTIME
Outwardly people may treat me unfairly but inwardly: I will rejoice ANYTIME–Again I will be glad anytime!
ANYPLACE
Outwardly the world and life might look grim but inwardly: I will rejoice ANYPLACE–Again I will be happy anyplace!
Today is the day the Lord has made! Make it count for Him!
