WE DON’T HAVE TO DOUBT

We never know when a tough situation is going to happen where our world changes. It may be a health issue where we worry about our health. It may be a financial situation and we don’t know where the money is going to come from. It may be a relationship problem or a job concern and we aren’t sure of what to do. Rather than letting these issues consume our minds and cause worry, we should seek God. We should seek peace and practice patience with these interruptions in life as we trust in God and wait for His answer.

SCRIPTURE: John 14:1 “Don’t let your hearts be troubled. Trust in God, and trust also in me.” (NLT)

ACTION STEPS:
1. Write what things you have doubt about.
2. List the events in the situation.
3. Know God does not want you to be troubled.
4. Trust in Him and know He will get you through this.

PRAYER:
Dear Lord, life sometimes throws us a curve ball. Things will be going well and all of a sudden there is tragedy, a problem or an issue where we don’t know what to do. And because of these changes in our lives, we begin to doubt. We begin to worry. We begin to get angry. Help us to remember, however, to practice patience and give You our problems so You can give us peace. We know when we trust in You for the right outcome, we don’t have to doubt. Everything has a reason and whatever we are dealing with we know You are in control. Thank You, Lord. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

REMEMBER:
God is able to remove our doubt, our fear and our worries when we put our trust in Him.

When we trust in God and stop worrying about lives, He will give us patience to wait for His answer.

When troubles come, we need to remember to stay focused on God.

When things in life aren’t going as we planned, we can trust in God for patience and know He has a plan.

We need to remember whatever we are suffering about right now is only temporary. We should look at the big picture God has planned and not worry.

FOCUS: Romans 8:18 “Yet what we suffer now is nothing compared to the glory he will reveal to us later.” (NLT)
