WHY ARE WE STILL HERE

There are times many of us wonder why we are still alive on this earth. We experience loved ones passing away. We have difficulties in marriage, with finances and our health. We wonder why we have to continue to suffer. If we are still on this earth, there is still work for us to do for the Lord. Since He has perfect timing and put us here for a reason, we need to follow through and do the work He has called us to do. We can't let Satan bring us down and distract us from doing the work God has called us to do.

2 Timothy 4:5 "But you should keep a clear mind in every situation. Don't be afraid of suffering for the Lord. Work at telling others the Good News, and fully carry out the ministry God has given you." (NLT)

Dear Lord, help us to keep a clear head in all situations. Remind us when we get down or when we are hurting You have a perfect plan for us. Remind us to stay focused on You and do only Your will. We know You created us for a reason. We know You have given us special talents. We know You love us. Help us, despite our difficulties, to continue to do the work You have called us to do. In Jesus' name. Amen.

When we are feeling down and out, we shouldn't give up. God has great plans for us and He will show us if we seek Him.

Despite our difficulties, we should make every effort to do the work for the Lord.

When we keep our minds clear from the clutter of this world and move away from our own selfish feelings, we can focus better on doing God's will.

We can't let Satan bring us down and distract us from doing the work God has called us to do.

There is an urgency to do the work God has planned for us so others will come to know Him as well.

John 9:4a "We must quickly carry out the tasks assigned us by the one who sent us." (NLT)

Focus: Carefully plan your time according to God's will and do the work He has called you to do.
