Proverb A Day – Day 14 by SGLY Ministry
Today’s Proverb:
In the fear of the Lord is strong confidence,
And His children will have a place of refuge.
Proverbs 14:26 [NKJV]
Today’s Thought:
“Fearing the Lord” means to live in awe of Him, regarding Him, respecting Him.
A Believer’s fear of the Lord would be shown by our respect for Him and our obedience to His will, as we worship Him in awe.
As we recognize, respect and reverence the Lord daily, we will become confident that He will always provide, protect and preserve us, for we are His children whom He loves.
Today’s Action:
God is our refuge and strength, A very present help in trouble. Psalm 46:1 NKJV
Today:
I will recognize the Lord in all I say and do.
I will respect the Lord and His word.
I will revere the Lord. He will always come first in my life.
I will seek my refuge in Him.
So God has given both his promise and his oath. These two things are unchangeable because it is impossible for God to lie. Therefore, we who have fled to him for refuge can have great confidence as we hold to the hope that lies before us. Hebrews 6:18 NLT
