And my God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:19
There’s a certain feeling you get when you just know God is calling you or leading you to do something difficult. And perhaps you’re feeling just that way as you head into the New Year. Maybe it’s a challenge in your commitment to Christ or a challenge to better engage your family. But if you’re in the will of God, you’ll always have God’s provision because God’s will is never stopped because of lack of resources—only a lack of obedience.
There’s no recession in God’s resources. There’s no economic problem in the Kingdom of Heaven. If we are in the will of God, we can always count on God’s provision. So why in the world would an apparent lack of resources keep us from moving forward where we truly believe God is leading us?
I don’t know what God’s will is for your life, but I do know three things about God’s will if you’re a believer in Christ: The will of God is good; the will of God is acceptable; and the will of God is perfect (Romans 12:2). So why not trust it if you believe that?
Maybe you’ve spent much of your life simply following your own will, but it hasn’t worked out the way you planned. Start following God’s will this New Year. When you do, you’ll discover deep joy and satisfaction as you see Him provide at every turn!
Follow God’s will in your life and He’ll never fail to provide for you!
